Wednesday, March 17, 2010, Drusilla Copeland, Bengt Lindstrom of Ander & Lindstrom AB, and Mike Cook of Clarion Learning met with around 15 education professionals in a Getting to know the Four Rooms of Change in schools half day event. As with any other group trying to get to know the Four Rooms of Change we started by building the theory together out of the groups own experiences, Mike Cook lead this portion of the event. After that Bengt Lindstrom shared with the group how the process of working with children in the classroom was developed and implemented by Ulla Janssen at Vasaskolan in Strangnas, Sweden. Next, Drusilla Copeland shared with the group what has been happening in schools in Sweden and Finland. There were many thoughtful questions and interest in finding a way to bring the Four Rooms of Change in Schools program to schools in Melbourne Victoria and possibly others states in Australia. The workshop generated plans for several new meetings.
