Certification on use of the Team Barometer

From the Team Barometer certification (Click to enlarge)

»What differentiates a good and productive leader from an ordinary or mediocre one is that the productive one seems to be capable of keep thinking clearly even though he or she is under hostile fire – from within.«
Wilfred R. Bion

To increase ones capacity to act more constructively in groups that are under stress and anxiety is something that becomes more and more important in our modern and ever changing world. This capacity can be trained and developed – not only among the leaders but among all engaged.

The 2010 Team Barometer certification program part one begun June 21 through 22. The Team Barometer is the tool in the Four Rooms of Change series that in a quite unique and very powerful way combines Claes Janssen's research with that of Wilfred R. Bion. Together and complementing each other they become a unbreakable team, possible to use by anyone in the organization.

To become certified on the Team Barometer requires certification on the Four Rooms of Change basic tools.

Education professionals from Melbourne and Sydney get to know the Four Rooms of Change

Wednesday, March 17, 2010, Drusilla Copeland, Bengt Lindstrom of Ander & Lindstrom AB, and Mike Cook of Clarion Learning met with around 15 education professionals in a Getting to know the Four Rooms of Change in schools half day event. As with any other group trying to get to know the Four Rooms of Change we started by building the theory together out of the groups own experiences, Mike Cook lead this portion of the event. After that Bengt Lindstrom shared with the group how the process of working with children in the classroom was developed and implemented by Ulla Janssen at Vasaskolan in Strangnas, Sweden. Next, Drusilla Copeland shared with the group what has been happening in schools in Sweden and Finland. There were many thoughtful questions and interest in finding a way to bring the Four Rooms of Change in Schools program to schools in Melbourne Victoria and possibly others states in Australia. The workshop generated plans for several new meetings.
