 This
video documents a Future Search around affordable housing conducted by
Marvin Weisbord and Sandra Janoff in Santa Cruz, California. The fast
growing economy and a series of earthquakes in 1992 together laid ground
for a crisis in living conditions in Santa Cruz County. It was especially
hard to find affordable housing. For two years they tried to solve these
problems, but in vain. In March, 1994 it was eventually decided to people
should come together for a Future Search conference. This conference was
to become the cement that got together people in this very unequal county.
